"Ehm, could I take a seat here?" Blake looked up from his drink, to see a [e/c], [h/c] girl staring back at him, a half-smile playing on her face, as she waited for a reply.
"Oh, yeah, yeah. Sure." The brown-haired lad smiled, as he slid down the seat, taking his beer with him. The girl sat down beside him, placing her drink on the table. "It kind of feels weird, to just ask you to move, but it's really crowded today here." She frowned slightly, "and I wouldn't have a clue why."
Blake shrugged, slightly. "Probably because it's a hot Sunday afternoon," he paused, sipping his drink, "and knowing our local weather, that either means the beach or the bar, because the rugby's on soon."
The girl beside him laughed. "I've noticed that, in New Zealand. You guys really know how to appreciate good weather."
"That we do, that we do," Blake smiled, as he nodded. "You're not from here?" He felt like he was being a bit impertinent, but he couldn't help but ask.
"Oh, no," the girl shook her head, as she sipped her lager. "I was just visiting, and I really liked the place, so I ended up staying here for longer."
"You've done a pretty good job of being Kiwi, though," Blake couldn't help but comment.
"I think I should take that as a compliment," The girl smiled. "Oh, [Name] [Surname], by the way!"
"Blake...Blake Kirkland," he replied, a ghost of a smile on his face.
It really was pretty good fortune meeting a pretty girl like this, in the bar. Good fortune at the bar.
"Oh, hey there, Brett!" She called out into the crowd, all of a sudden. A tall, tanned, muscular man came over, taller than Blake, for sure. Blake's eyes widened, as he realised who it was, really.
"Hey, Brett, this is Blake! I just met him, here! And Blake...this is-"
"Brett," Blake finished off her sentence. "We're...vaguely acquainted."
"Oh, you are?" The girl's mouth formed a small "o." "How did you-"
"Uni." Blake replied, the smile on his face clearly false, now. "We met in Uni."
"Brett...do you remember him?" [Name] turned around, to see him clearly distracted.
"Uhh...babe, hang on, I'll be back, okay?" With a quick, brief kiss on her cheek, Brett had left.
"You two...seem...uh, pretty close." Blake wasn't sure of what else to say.
"Yeah," [Name] laughed. "We haven't been dating for too long."
Oh, shit.
When I saw you in Verona
You sat down and moved over
Pretty people but all I saw was you
And yes it's you i'm rating
Forget the boy your dating
in my opinion he isn't right for you.
And she smiles when she sees me
intoxicated by her company
Splendid lady, lazy Sunday afternoon
Good fortune at the bar

Gilbert was walking with Antonio and Francis after the world meeting, while the three of them were deep into a very important argument. "Kesesese, I'm telling you, I could easily beat up dis Superman guy. I'm definitely way more awesome dan he is!" Gilbert protested.

You charged through the door as the clock in the café struck 9am and run through to the kitchen. Standing behind the door you took a moment to breathe in and sigh. Quickly, you fumbled in your bag and pulled out a mirror, hurriedly flattening your hair in the mirror. You looked left and right, checking everything. Feeling rather happy you opened the door to the kitchen slowly.
The wooden door didn't comply with your subtle entry and creaked slowly with each movement.
Seeing Feliciano fumbling around in the cupboards you made your way to the table in the centre of the room. Leaning against the wood and smelling the

I do not own Hetalia nor its characters.

Yeah, I'm using their nation names for this. I just don't feel like remembering their full names this time. xD
I'll use the actual names when people are talking to them, though. Like in the third paragraph.

"Nyaahh~" you say as you recline in your chair. It was your lazy day, your do-nothing day, your holy-shit-it's-friday day. What else was there to do on a blazing hot friday afternoon? You had just gotten home from your part-time job, as it had gotten so hot people were fainting. Now all you could do was sit in your house and stare at the non-working TV screen. You fan
